The Week's Highlights...
Please join us this Tuesday, May 15th at 6pm for the annual FPES Meeting. I look forward to the opportunity to present highlights from this amazing 2011-2012 school year and to share some of the exciting plans for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. Childcare will be provided and students with parents attending will receive a uniform pass.
Grandperson’s Day Chapel is this Friday, May 18th beginning at 8am. Students should be dropped off at Palisades Country Club between 7:30-8am. Students do NOT need book bags, snacks, or lunches. After returning to PES, all “Grand” visitors can tour the middle school classrooms, enjoy a reception on the patio, have a photograph taken with their family, and are then encouraged to leave and spend time as a family.

PES Gives Back... As part of the PES mission, students are regularly engaged in school-wide and class organized service opportunities.
Students worked hard to raise $3808.13 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and enjoyed a surprise visit from Hamilton Grant and his family. The Grants were a founding PES family whose son Hamilton was diagnosed with Leukemia. PES was proud to present them with a check to help cover their medical expenses and share the many amazing ways that our students worked to earn money that was donated. We look forward to Hamilton’s continued healing and The Grant Family returning to Charlotte to rejoin our school family in the future.
