Welcome to Palisades Episcopal School! I remember being in your shoes just a few years ago. Choosing a school for our children is a big decision and we all want our children to be safe, to be accepted and to be exposed to the richest curriculum by the strongest, most nurturing educators.
I hope you will drop in. Visit our campus. Take a tour. You might walk into our Kindergarten Hall of Presidents where a five year old, dressed like Abraham Lincoln, teaches the rest of the school about his contributions to our country. You might hear the 3rd graders try out their newly learned Latin vocabulary, dressed as ancient Romans while immersed in amazing pieces of Roman art and architecture. Perhaps, you have stumbled into our Middle School and are watching 5th graders dissect frogs virtually on their iPads and then, with confidence, making the first incision to the real frog. The possibilities of what you may see are endless, but I know regardless of subject matter, you will witness joyful learning.
At Palisades Episcopal School, we know the importance of teaching to the whole child- inspiring the mind with a love of learning as well as touching the heart to develop children with strong moral character. Our students are reading to the elderly at nursing homes, gleaning sweet potatoes to be donated to the hungry, and spending a week in Savannah on a Youth Mission Trip. Our hands on approach to learning transcends to using our hands to serve others. This combination culminates in almost a Renaissance child- a child who studies the Classics, Languages and the rich Core Knowledge Curriculum, yet it is infused with lessons and modeling that strengthen a conscience, instill a sense of service and builds character. As a result, our children know how to be a good friend on a daily basis and compassionate people in a global world.
Come see for yourself what makes Palisades Episcopal School such a special place to learn and grow. If you would like to know more, please call me at 704-583-1825 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am so glad that your journey brought you here and I cannot wait to meet you.
