Welcome
Thank you for your interest in Palisades Episcopal School. The 2011-2012 school year will be our most exciting to date! This year we celebrate our 5 year anniversary and our first 8th grade graduating class. We also celebrate our dual-accreditation with SAIS (Southern Association of Independent Schools) and SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). We have grown from a school serving 25 children in grades K – 4 to a school serving over 170 children in grades JK – 8. We are honored to be serving so many of our community’s families.
Palisades Episcopal School is a school honoring Christ and committed to providing a classical education challenging the mind, body and spirit. Our learning environment is child focused and teaches students how to think, not what to think. Through individual and small group instruction, projects and real-life experiences, Palisades Episcopal School promotes learning as a life long process. By focusing on the art of learning and the value of character, we instill enthusiasm, responsibility, and strong moral character in our students while nurturing their natural curiosity and equipping them to excel both academically and socially.
As you search for the best school setting for your child, we encourage you to visit Palisades Episcopal School. Tour our campus. Learn about our classical curriculum and how it will be the most significant learning experience your child will ever have. Meet our teachers, visit the classroom and see for yourself how the Palisades Episcopal School experience will enrich your child’s life.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warmest regards,
Monique Gilbert
